In the latest chapter of the President to President series, published today, Edward Ray, Ph.D., president of Oregon State University outlines the university’s efforts to combat a negative campus culture through anti-violence, anti-assault and substance abuse prevention/recovery programs.
Titled “Taking Action to Overcome Institutional Betrayal on College Campuses,” the article retells the story of an assault on campus and its impact on cultivating a safe and secure campus environment at Oregon State University. Through a restructuring of institutional safety, Dr. Ray promises a stronger and more enhanced educational experience for students, their parents and the rest of the campus community.
