Alzheimer’s is a deadly disease that devastates 1 in 3 American families, destroys memories and functional capabilities, and can make it impossible for people with the disease to live fulfilling and independent lives. Connected Living, a free app which can be downloaded on smartphones and tablets, connects families and loved ones via a private, secure, social networking platform. The app allows users to request rides, access a team of people round-the-clock to help organize appointments or purchase groceries, as well as connect them with family and friends. It also helps provide peace-of-mind for caregivers and family members who can track the location of their loved ones and create geo-fences.

- Lyft will contribute $5.00 to UsAgainstAlzheimer’s for each new rider booked through the Connected Living app using the code “USA2.”
- Dementia Friends USA will make the Connected Living mobile app available free to Dementia Friends all across the country to spread awareness and make connections easier for those helping to make communities friendlier for those living with dementia and their care partners.
